Acceptance of Terms

By accessing or using the VerifiedGuest platform (including all features, APIs, and related services) you agree to be bound by these Terms of Service, our Privacy Policy, and any additional guidelines referenced herein. These terms constitute a legally binding agreement between you and VerifiedGuest.

If you are using VerifiedGuest on behalf of a business, you represent that you have the authority to bind that business to these terms.

Eligibility & Account Registration

To create a VerifiedGuest account, you must:

• Be at least 18 years of age and legally capable of entering into binding contracts.
• Operate a legitimate hospitality or service business that you are authorised to represent.
• Provide accurate, current, and complete registration information.
• Maintain the security of your account credentials and immediately notify us of any unauthorised access.

Account Responsibilities

You are solely responsible for all activity that occurs under your account. You agree not to share your login credentials, create accounts for others without authorisation, or use automated means to access the platform. VerifiedGuest reserves the right to refuse service to anyone for any reason, at any time, in accordance with applicable law.

Verification Protocol

Our platform is built on the core principle of "Verified-Only" reviews — every review is cryptographically tied to a confirmed booking. By using VerifiedGuest, businesses explicitly agree to:

• Submit only 100% accurate guest reservation data for review verification purposes.
• Not manipulate, cherry-pick, or selectively filter guest invitation lists in any way that would skew overall rating results.
• Acknowledge that each review token is unique, non-transferable, and cryptographically bound to a single confirmed booking record.
• Respond to review disputes and investigation requests with valid, supporting booking evidence within the designated timeframes.
• Accept that VerifiedGuest's decisions regarding review validity or removal are based on an independent, evidence-based assessment process.

Prohibited Conduct

The following actions are strictly prohibited and will result in immediate account suspension and possible legal action:

Intellectual Property

The VerifiedGuest platform, including its design, code, trademarks, verification technology, and brand assets, is owned exclusively by VerifiedGuest and protected under applicable intellectual property laws.

Your Content

By submitting reviews, comments, business information, or other content to VerifiedGuest, you grant us a worldwide, non-exclusive, royalty-free licence to use, display, reproduce, and distribute that content solely for the purpose of operating and promoting the platform. You retain ownership of your content.

Our Content

You may not copy, reproduce, distribute, or create derivative works based on VerifiedGuest's proprietary content without express written permission. You may link to our platform and share reviews displayed publicly, provided you attribute VerifiedGuest as the source.

Payments & Subscription Plans

VerifiedGuest offers free and paid subscription plans. By subscribing to a paid plan, you agree to the following:

• Billing: Subscription fees are billed in advance on a monthly or annual basis, depending on your chosen plan.
• Automatic renewal: Subscriptions automatically renew unless cancelled before the renewal date.
• Cancellation: You may cancel at any time through your account settings. Cancellation takes effect at the end of the current billing period; no partial refunds are issued.
• Price changes: We will provide at least 30 days' notice before changing subscription prices. Continued use after the notice period constitutes acceptance of the new pricing.
• Failed payments: If a payment fails, access to paid features may be restricted until payment is resolved.

All payments are processed securely by our third-party payment partner. VerifiedGuest does not store payment card details.

Dispute Resolution

VerifiedGuest provides a neutral, evidence-based process for resolving review disputes. Our goal is to ensure every published review is fair, accurate, and verifiable.

Review Disputes

Businesses may challenge a review if they believe it was submitted in error, violates our community guidelines, or does not correspond to a verifiable stay. To raise a dispute, businesses must provide supporting booking evidence through the platform dashboard.

Platform Decisions

VerifiedGuest's decisions regarding review validity, removal, or retention are final following the completion of our investigation process. We act as an independent arbitrator and are not obligated to remove reviews that are verified as authentic.

User Disputes

For disputes between users, or between a user and VerifiedGuest, we encourage resolution through direct communication first. For unresolved issues, please contact contact@verified-guest.com.

Termination

Either party may terminate the agreement at any time.

Termination by You

You may close your account at any time through account settings or by contacting our support team. Upon closure, your data will be handled per our Privacy Policy retention schedule.

Termination by VerifiedGuest

We reserve the right to suspend or terminate accounts without notice for:

• Breach of these Terms of Service.
• Fraudulent activity, submission of fake data, or manipulation of the review system.
• Engaging in conduct that harms other users, guests, or the integrity of the platform.
• Failure to pay subscription fees after reasonable notice.

Upon termination, your right to access the platform ceases immediately. Sections on intellectual property, limitation of liability, and governing law survive termination.

Limitation of Liability

VerifiedGuest is provided on an "as is" and "as available" basis without warranties of any kind, express or implied. To the maximum extent permitted by law:

• We do not warrant that the platform will be uninterrupted, error-free, or free of viruses or other harmful components.
• We are not liable for any indirect, incidental, consequential, punitive, or special damages arising from your use of the platform.
• We are not responsible for the accuracy or truthfulness of any review content published on the platform, as reviews reflect the genuine opinions of verified guests.
• Our total liability for any direct damages shall not exceed the total fees paid by you to VerifiedGuest in the 3 months preceding the claim.

Some jurisdictions do not allow limitations on implied warranties or liability for incidental damages; in such cases, the above limitations may not fully apply to you.

Governing Law & Contact

These Terms of Service shall be governed by and construed in accordance with applicable law. Any disputes arising out of or in connection with these terms shall first be attempted to be resolved amicably. Failing that, disputes shall be subject to the exclusive jurisdiction of the competent courts.

We reserve the right to modify these Terms at any time. We will notify registered users of material changes via email or a prominent notice on the platform at least 30 days before changes take effect.
